1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyLifeSettlements website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. Certain features may be restricted based on residency, licensing, regulatory requirements, or other eligibility criteria determined by MyLifeSettlements ("Company").

3. No financial, legal, or tax advice

The Services may provide educational information about life settlements and transaction workflows. The Company does not provide legal, tax, insurance, or investment advice, and nothing on the Services should be construed as such. You are responsible for consulting your own advisors.

4. Platform scope and limitations

The Services may support intake, documentation, disclosures, communications, and closing coordination related to life settlement transactions. The Company may rely on third-party service providers (for example, identity verification, e-signature, escrow coordination, and document delivery). The Company may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

5. Accounts and security

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify the Company promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

6. User responsibilities

• You will not use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
• You will not attempt to bypass access controls, eligibility gates, or security measures.
• You will not upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Services.
• You will provide truthful information and documents and not misrepresent identity, authority, or intent.

7. Transaction and risk acknowledgements

Life settlement transactions may involve material risks, including longevity uncertainty, premium payment obligations, documentation complexity, timing delays, rescission or cancellation rights (where applicable), counterparty performance risk, and illiquidity. You are solely responsible for evaluating any transaction and understanding your obligations.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including all content, software, designs, and trademarks, are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without prior written permission.

9. Third-party services and links

The Services may include links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services. The Company does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be subject to third-party terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) TO USE THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if it believes you have violated these Terms or if required for compliance, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws rules, except where superseded by applicable law.

15. Changes to these Terms

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
